Questions or requests? Email info@eighthspace.in.

1. Scope of this policy

This policy applies to website design, development, support and related services purchased from EIGHTHSPACE. Your accepted proposal may contain project-specific cancellation terms; where it does, those terms take priority.

2. How to request cancellation

Email info@eighthspace.in from the address connected with the project. Include the business name, project name, invoice or proposal reference and the reason for the request. Cancellation is effective when we confirm it in writing, not when an informal message is sent.

We normally acknowledge requests within five business days and will provide a written account of completed work, committed costs, unpaid fees and any refundable balance.

3. Before work begins

If you cancel before strategy, design, development or other project work begins, amounts paid may be refunded after deducting any clearly disclosed reservation fee, payment-processing charge and third-party purchase already made for your project.

4. After work begins

Once work begins, fees for discovery, planning, design, development, project management and other completed work are earned and non-refundable. Any refund is limited to the unearned portion of fees paid for work that has not started, calculated against the project stages, time reserved and deliverables completed at cancellation.

A change of mind, change in business circumstances or preference for a different creative direction does not create an automatic right to a full refund after custom work has begun. Included revision rounds should be used to address work that remains within the approved scope.

5. Non-refundable third-party costs

Domain registrations, hosting, business email, licences, plugins, fonts, stock assets, payment fees, booking tools and other external products are non-refundable once purchased or activated unless the provider itself issues a refund. Where transfer is permitted, control can be transferred after all amounts due to EIGHTHSPACE are paid.

6. Delays, pauses and abandoned projects

If required content, feedback, access, approval or payment is delayed, we may pause and reschedule the project. A pause is not a cancellation by EIGHTHSPACE and completed work remains payable. If either party decides not to resume, the cancellation calculation in this policy applies.

7. Cancellation by EIGHTHSPACE

If we cancel for reasons unrelated to your breach, non-payment or unlawful conduct, we will refund fees paid for agreed work that has not been performed. We will provide completed, paid-for deliverables in a reasonably usable format where practical.

If we end the engagement because of non-payment, unlawful material, abuse, security risk or material breach, fees for completed work and committed costs remain due and any refund is assessed only after those amounts are accounted for.

8. Approved refund timing

Approved refunds are normally initiated to the original payment method within seven to ten business days after written approval. Banks and payment providers may take additional time to display the credit. We will not send a refund to an unrelated account or payment method.

9. Service issues and statutory rights

If you believe work materially differs from the accepted scope, notify us promptly with details and allow a reasonable opportunity to review and correct it. Nothing in this policy limits a remedy or consumer right that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Before paying

Your proposal should identify the initial payment, milestones and any third-party purchases. Ask us to clarify anything before accepting the project.
